Competition on track combined with real sportsmanship. This is the fundamental idea of the ROTAX MAX Challenge.

Today, the ROTAX MAX Challenge is run all over the world covering all five continents and popularity for the series continues to grow. ROTAX distributors in the various countries organise their national series and during 2004, the ROTAX MAX Challenge involved over 3,700 competitors.

During the 2005 season, there will also be three international series’ which are the European, Asian and Pan American ROTAX MAX Challenge.

As one of the world leaders in racing kart engine production, ROTAX engineered and manufacture the ROTAX 125 MAX engine and this sensation in karting worldwide is the basis of the ROTAX MAX Challenge. Designed for both the racing and recreational markets, the ‘MAX’ has resulted in the ultimate approach to hassle-free karting, revolutionising the industry with an easy-to-use and incredibly reliable engine.

Its unique simplicity with self starting “touch-and-go” (TAG) technology together with longer life between rebuilds, has encouraged various levels of karters to participate in the ROTAX MAX Challenge.

The RMC is authorized and sanctioned by CIK/FIA, using Rotax kart engines which are checked and sealed (for equal performance). The sealing is done by authorized distributors or their authorized service centres when it comes to national
and international RMCs. As this is an invitational race, BRP-Rotax supplies all engines and karts at the GRAND FINALS, which also means that engines for this race are sealed by specialists from BRP-Rotax .

By following the “Rotax Sporting and Technical Regulations" of the Rotax MAX Challenge and by using a mandatory type of tyre (MOJO®), the success in the competition is mainly up to the skills of the driver and his/her experience in the set up of the combination of the engine and the chassis.

Authorized distributors of Rotax kart products offer their customers a national RMC program according to the “Rotax Sporting and Technical Regulations” defined by BRP-Rotax.

This results in a fair competition between semi-professional kart racers that share the same interests.
