5-9-2008

The Greenchoice-Forze team of the University of Delft has won the first race in the Formula Zero championship.

Team Formula Zero TU Delft

Formula Zero is a new zero-emission race class for open fuel cell single seaters. Zero emission racing is the perfect platform for researching and marketing the advanced propulsion technology of this century. Formula Zero appeals to a new generation of race fans by promising unexpected technological innovations, racing in city centers, zero emissions and a futuristic sound. Now, Formula Zero B.V. is preparing the 2008 Championship, featuring a competition between university teams that develop their own fuel cell kart.

This race class will scale-up to full-size racing cars, as commercial interest and the technology develop. One rule stands; all cars will produce zero emissions.

Kombikart engineers helped develop the chassis together with students of the TU Delft. We will keep you updated about next races.
